"Show Boat" is Berry's first eight-show-a-week gig after giving birth to the twins and it's her first production of the classic musical. "It's a wonderful place and (director Rob Ruggiero) has put together such a nice company." "It's been a lovely summer so far," Berry said of having her family with her in beautiful East Haddam.
"She has been around it her whole life," Berry said, adding with a laugh that when she asked Madeleine if she wanted to be in "Show Boat," the girl's first question was, "How much rehearsal do I have?. Berry joked that her daughter has been "around theater since she was in vitro" Madeleine was born in the middle of her mom's auditions for the musical "Taboo." She also spent a few years visiting her father at Broadway's Booth Theater, where he worked on the hit musical "Next to Normal."
